Our Story
Houghton School of Music was founded with one simple goal: to create a place where every musician feels encouraged, supported and inspired.
After years of teaching across local dance schools and working as a professional musician, our founder, Bethanie Houghton, saw the need for a dedicated music school that combines high-quality tuition with a welcoming, community-focused environment.
Today, HOSM offers expert lessons in vocals, piano, guitar and music theory for all ages and abilities. Whether you're learning for fun, building confidence or working towards auditions and exams, we're here to help every student discover their potential and enjoy the journey along the way.
